WEEK 1 - What is digital photography?
An explanation around how digital captures are made on different devices and what is required to view, edit, store and share them.
WEEK 2 - Camera Controls
What they are and what they do (e.g.., ISO, White Balance, Aperture (AV), Speed (TV), Exposure Adjustments (+ / -), Focus Options, Light Metering Options etc
WEEK 3 - Understanding Exposure
The exposure triangle (ISO, Aperture & Speed) and how they work together to create a ‘correct’ exposure
WEEK 4 - Importing images onto a PC
Learning how to download images from a device (camera / phone etc) onto a computer for storage, back-up and manipulation
WEEK 5 - Using PS Elements & editing software
Accessing files, editing for crop, contrast, colour saturation etc and saving
WEEK 6 - Review
Recapping on all the elements of the course.
