Learn about digital photography and the how to get the best from your camera here in the Scottish Borders

I strongly believe that in order to learn, it is vital to put newly acquired knowledge of techniques into practice at the earliest possible opportunity.

A Photography Walk is the ideal way to explore and practice, but really this is only the beginning. In truth, several meetings are advised over several weeks or months to help you remember and apply your new found skills.

Clients include holiday-makers who are looking for an activity whilst enjoying their stay and that can help them improve their photography or to see some of the wonderful landscape here in the Scottish Borders, to individuals and groups wishing to explore and learn in a non-threating environment.

We all feel a little ignorant at times and so by helping you to overcome your fears, we can benefit from each other's experience.

Cost is £75.00per person per hour. Discounts may be available for groups. Please ask.

Longer, more intense, half and full day sessions are available on a one-to-one basis starting from £250.00 pp.

Payments are taken in cash on the day, mobile EPOS, or proforma invoice. Gift Vouchers can also be used.

If you are looking to come and stay in the area I also have several places I'd recommend for your stay in the local area. In particular, Cosaig Self Catering cottage here in Innerleithen and Tontine Hotel, Peebles who also promote my walks.

Graham Riddell Photographer - Landscape & Nature Art
It was an enjoyable balmy evening. The basic camera function theory you explained clearly and comprehensively. Thanks Graham

Thanks for yesterday, it may have been a tad chilly, but it was the most informative two hours I have had for a while. My camera is red hot instead of a just another unused possession. New tripod is ordered.

I have spent hours out tonight and got some amazing night sky shots

Thanks again, best regards Tony.
