One to watch out for is the Scottish Thistle with its prickly leaves. Yet somehow it has a Royal majesty about it and is woven into the very fabric of Scottish Society and emblematic iconography with its purple head and green body. There is even an ancient chivalrous body 'Order of the Thistle'
