The Southern Uplands

A large expanse of open natural wilderness of hills and mountains mostly in the sub 3,000M range but no less challenging.
The range stretches across southern Scotland from Port Patrick on the west coast of Dumfries & Galloway, to Eyemouth on the east coast and is the natural land barrier between England and Scotland.
